Top Fashion Trends 2015 Spring Summer

Let's take a look at the top fashion trends for Spring and Summer 2015, what style experts are predicting and how to wear them.  What a fun exciting time of the year!  We'll also take a look at some of these trends done in Vintage!

Florals

Florals 2015 have gone big and bold; think jungle, lush, exotic,  but not muu - muu!

Matching florals can work with narrower silhouettes --  or go full skirts with summer whites and solids!

If you are daring enough to mix florals be aware of colors and scale.  If the idea of this big, bold style choice is a bit much for you, just add a touch of flowers with accessories.

We are loving the look of floral shoes, sandals, and even sunglasses to add to your personal style!

1970's Re-Mix

This trend is being called the softer or "subtle 70's".

This time around think "happy vs. hippie," patchwork prints, lightweight
suede, and leather.

To create the look, go with just one "throw-back" piece per outfit.  This year consider adding fringe to your closet with tops, accessories, shoes, boots, jackets, handbags, and/or sandals.

White Lace and. . .  ROMANCE

Look for white lace dresses, blouses, skirts, jackets and even pants.

Not a girlie girl? Go with a touch of lace in your accessories,
shoes, handbags.  Even a headband will do!

Lace is great on young fashionistas too !

Cool Girl Gingham

A fresh take on an old favorite, changed up for 2015.  If you love looking
"lady like," then gingham already works for you.

But if you think you are too modern for gingham just add a "tomboy"
accessory like sneakers, or oxfords to make it current and fun.

Change up the silhouettes to make gingham new and exciting!

Are you more classic? Pair gingham with stripes. . . for a clean crisp look

Gingham too traditional for you?

Show just a touch of skin and you have sexy and fresh!

New Military and Safari

Beautiful fabrics in soft or structured silhouettes make Military or Safari
prints a smart comfortable choice for 2015.

Mix traditional military and safari colors
with non-traditional military shapes and different new colors.

If your favorite piece is a structured design, add it to slouchy softer fabrics, shapes, and colors.

Even animal prints have gone soft in new color schemes.

Use accessories for just a hint of this enduring trend.

As always, this trend is a fun way to go neutral.

Delicious and Spicy

Think amber, canary, saffron, marsala, and marigold shades and hues.

To wear this palette you must first know your skin's undertone and pick the hue that best complements it.  Which "season" are you?

This is truly an unexpected color story --  when you find the right hues for your skin it looks fabulous!

Give this color palate a try --  find the right hue in the mix that works for you and look delicious and spicy!

Culottes R Hot

Comfortable and trending; wear them with flats, sandals, and even heels.

Get the fun flare and ease of a skirt with the coverage of a pant.

Very important to remain aware of scale so you won't be lost in fabric.

Only the very tall can wear large and slouchy tops with this fun comfortable

bottom.  Most women should pair them with a narrower silhouette  -- either tucked in or cropped.
